The National Tattoo Convention, March 12th - 15th, 1998

The National Tattoo Convention took place at the Los Angeles Marriott Airport Hotel, March 12^th through 15^th. I attended and competed in the tattoo contest, which was held on the 13^th. I didn't win anything, but I had fun.

I sat next to a very nice elderly couple at the show (their grandson is an artist, and they'd come to see him) who took the first three of these pictures and sent them to me. Thank you, Bruce and Edna Elliott! I unfortunately have forgotten your grandson's name - he had a beautiful sleeve which I believe did win an award.

I probably shouldn't have been quite so modest - there were some women who were wearing nothing but pasties and a g-string.
